Melton Tackle Dredge/Teaser Rods

Melton Tackle Dredge/Teaser Rods are designed to aid in the swift recovery of teasers, planers, and dredges. They can also be used with electric reels. The MIT TEASER 80 rod features an AFTCO swivel top and stripper with an 80 lb. class detachable curved butt. Measuring around 4 ft, our Teaser Rod keeps your teaser lines well out of the way of your main lines and are easy to “stash” once the lines have been cleared. They are fitted with an AFTCO swivel top to keep the line from wrapping. DT models are fitted with a Winthrop Tip Top and have an unlimited line rating, allowing you to use your heaviest tackle with them. You can buy these rods blade only, with an AFTCO Curved Unibutt, or with a Winthrop T-10X Adjusta Butt.
